Description |
This kit is the WWII version. It has 14 sprues and decals for two WWII versions.
The M32 series is a tank recovery vehicle based on the M4 Sherman tank. It was developed for the purpose of frontline vehicle recovery due to combat wear and tear. Based on operational experience, the M32 was equipped with a crane attached to the body of the M4 hull. This installation required removing the M4 Turret. The front of the vehicle was equipped with an M1 81mm mortar used for firing smoke shells. The M32 was also equipped with an M2 .50 caliber heavy machine gun.
