On30 represents one of the most important product lines to become available to Model Railroaders in years. Now for the first time the hobbyist can experience the joy and achievement of O scale narrow gauge at a fraction of the cost normally associated with these model trains.

On30 are 1/4" Scale (O Scale) model trains that operate on HO track. HO Scale track is 16.5mm gauge (between the rails) and figures out to 2' 6" (30") gauge in real life. During the 19th Century and early 20th Century there were many prototypical track gauges in use. Narrow gauge track was used where tight radius turns were needed such as mountainous and forested regions of the Old West. On30 is ideal for building logging or mining railroad layouts.
