Early in his career, Admiral Nelson served as midshipman aboard the Race Horse, a small sloop that carried 12 guns. Mantua Model of Italy's Race Horse kit is an accurate replica of the original. Wooden parts are laser cut. The hull is double-planked - once in limewood, then again in walnut. Hardwood and brass fittings are ready to use and detailed plans make building easy.
