HMS Hood was the pride of the British Royal Navy, designed during the First World War, represented the power of England's rule of the seas, served with distinction, only to vanish in mere minutes in the epic battle with the German leviathan Bismarck. Contained within this volume is a complete visual history of this warship like never before. The book is composed of 72 pages, containing 103 black and white photographs with extensive captions, a brief history of the ship, and last, but not least, 8 pages displaying the amazing computer graphics on the Hood, from the German artist Thomas Schmid, famous for his work in the Discovery Channel's "James Cameron's Expedition Bismarck".
