The pre-colored plastic structure was designed with ease of assembly in mind. Most parts snap together, however some gluing is involved. The trains roll on precision brass wheels for consistent operation. The compact footprint of the Comet (12" x 27") makes it an unobtrusive yet attention-grabbing addition to any layout. The electric lift motor operates on the 12V accessory outlet on your transformer.
