Unless a company is large enough for its own rail spur, they had to use the railroad's freight house as a shipping and receiving point. The freight agent would do the paperwork and schedule the delivery.

This new kit consists of laser-cut basswood, plywood, and cardstock, tarpaper roofing, detail castings, and loads of character. It was based upon a CB&Q prototype. The doors are positionable open or closed. It can be built with board-and-batten siding, or the individual battens can be left off for a typical board siding. The tabbed, well-engineered construction provides fast and easy assembly. The footprint of the building is about 20' x 74' with 30' dock on one end.
